As a Managing Director of ACA Associates, Inc., Mr. Manternach provides strategic and financial advice to corporations and institutional investors, primarily in the transportation, clean energy and natural resources industries. Mr. Manternach also serves as a director of Prophecy Platinum Corp. and as an advisor to Composite Capital, where he is a Managing Director.

Mr. Manternach has significant experience in the clean energy sector, both as a financial advisor and as an institutional investment manager. Mr. Manternach began his finance career at JPMorgan, where he was Vice President of investment banking and worked for seven years. He provided mergers and acquisitions advice and raised capital for financial sponsors and corporate clients in a wide variety of industries, including metals & mining and forest products.

As an investment manager for eleven years, Mr. Manternach managed investments in a wide range of industries, including forest products and agriculture. His investment experience covered a wide range of capital structures and asset classes, including project financings, distressed debt and carbon-linked securities. Mr. Manternach remains a director of a private investment in a Peruvian forestry company that generates and sells REDD credits under the UN Kyoto Protocol.

Mr. Manternach holds an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and a BS in Electrical Engineering with distinction from Iowa State University. Prior to attending Wharton, Mr. Manternach was an electrical engineer for Texas Instruments, where he designed integrated circuits and was awarded a United States patent. was awarded a United States patent.
