Mr. Manternach is a Managing Director of ACA Associates, Inc., an aviation-focused international consulting and financial advisory firm with principal offices in New York, NY. He provides strategic and financial advice to corporations and institutional investors, primarily in the transportation and natural resources industries. Mr. Manternach serves as an advisor to Composite Capital, where he is a Managing Director.

Mr. Manternach has nineteen years of experience in investment banking and investment management. Mr. Manternach began his finance career at JPMorgan, where he was Vice President of investment banking and worked for seven years. Mr. Manternach provided mergers and acquisitions advice and raised capital for financial sponsors and corporate clients in a wide variety of industries, including metals & mining, paper & packaging, telecoms, media and technology.

Mr. Manternach has worked as an institutional investment manager for eleven years. Mr. Manternach was a Managing Director of Octavian Advisors, a global investment fund based in New York. While at Octavian, Mr. Manternach was a senior member of the investment committee since the fund's startup in 2006. He directed and oversaw public and private debt and equity investments, many of which involved international companies in the transportation and natural resource industries. Prior to Octavian, Mr. Manternach was a Vice President of Robeco Investment Management, where he was one of two professionals who launched the Weiss, Peck & Greer Event-Driven Fund. Prior to Robeco, Mr. Manternach was a senior analyst at EagleRock Capital Management.

Mr. Manternach holds an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and a BS in Electrical Engineering with distinction from Iowa State University. Prior to attending Wharton, Mr. Manternach was an electrical engineer for Texas Instruments, where he designed integrated circuits and was awarded a United States patent.

Mr. Manternach has significant experience in the clean energy sector, both as a financial advisor and as an institutional investment manager. Mr. Manternach began his finance career at JPMorgan, where he was Vice President of investment banking and worked for seven years. He provided mergers and acquisitions advice and raised capital for financial sponsors and corporate clients in a wide variety of industries, including metals & mining and forest products.

As an investment manager for eleven years, Mr. Manternach managed investments in a wide range of industries, including forest products and agriculture. His investment experience covered a wide range of capital structures and asset classes, including project financings, distressed debt and carbon-linked securities. Mr. Manternach remains a director of a private investment in a Peruvian forestry company that generates and sells REDD credits under the UN Kyoto Protocol.
